My nose was either buried in a book or I was acting in local theatre. My immediate goal was Drama School in London. This built a strong foundation for me in vocal skills, breathing technique and script interpretation. In the following years as an actress, I regularly worked in voiceover, until it gradually took over completely and I knew I'd found where I belong. I've been in voiceover now for over twenty years, and work full-time voicing commercials, video games, radio imaging, corporate videos, animation, you name it! And when Jack Radio were looking for a fun and cheeky Northern voice for their national radio station, they came to me. Home is now in Epping, Essex, where I have my own lovely voiceover studio and easy access to the major studios in London.
